FAQ | POLICIES
What exactly do you do?
We create fashion inspired portraits for women. By specializing in boudoir, fashion, maternity and creative headshots, you can be confident that we have perfected the glamour portrait. When you trust our team of creatives, the only thing you have to do is show up and absolutely love the way you look!
Who is boudoir for?
We started providing these services exclusively for brides-to-be who are looking for a truly unique groom’s gift. However, we’ve found that our client’s also enjoy boudoir as the perfect gift for anniversaries, birthdays, Christmas, Valentine’s day etc. And some of our favorites, are the women who work with us just to celebrate themselves!

Where are you located?
We are conveniently located on Meeting St. in downtown Charleston for consultations, proofing and ordering appointments. We are available on location for shoots in the Charleston area, either at your home or at a hotel/location of choice. If you need help scheduling a hotel, complimentary concierge booking is available upon request. We work exclusively with Travellux Official.
How quickly can I see my photos?
Photos will be ready for viewing in just 2-3 days! After your shoot, we’ll book a day/time that works for both of us to get together in person or over Skype for your ordering appointment.
(Not available for industry days, mixer events, training programs or specialty events)
How long will it take to get my photos once I’ve placed my order?
This really depends on what you order. Prints can be ready in just a few days and most items take no more than 2 weeks to process. Please allow 6-8 weeks for some of our larger, designer albums.
Do you offer gift certificates?
Yes! We are happy to provide a custom-made gift certificate upon request.
Do you provide the clothing?
We do not provide lingerie for shared use. Each client is responsible for her own wardrobe. However, in your consultation, we will go through exactly what to bring and how to prepare for your shoot. You can also download our “Behind-the-scenes Planner” complete with lingerie guide. The guide will help you learn to shop for lingerie based on your body type.
How do you process your images?
As an artist, I would NEVER give you an unfinished product. That is why prior to your ordering session, your images will be edited, cropped, color corrected and include some basic retouching. Once you place your order, selected images will undergo additional editing to perfect any blemishes, skin tones or body issues. High-end retouching is available through our professional fashion retouching team, based in London.
When can I book?
We shoot weekdays in the morning or afternoon. Saturday appointments are based on availability. Because our hair/makeup artists also do weddings, weekend bookings go fast mid-season!
How can I make a payment?
We accept cash, personal checks, debit or credit cards (Visa, Discover, Mastercard). A 50% deposit is due at the time of booking and the balance is due no later than one week prior to your scheduled appointment. Your print and product order is due when you place your order. Interest-free financing is available upon request.
Will my images appear on your website or in marketing materials?
Before we can release any image to you, we do require a signed model release form (included in your contract). However, we understand and respect that some of these images are private, and we will NEVER use identifiable images without prior approval. A privacy addendum to the contract is available upon request.
If you don’t use my images, why do I need to sign a model release?
Most of our clients love their photos so much that they want to share them online. And we want you to do that! But because a variety of social media sites are now public, and the copyright remains that of the photographer, a signed release form is required before images can be released to you.
Why are social media images watermarked?
Because these images are shared online, we take a proactive approach to protecting your images from other people taking them and using them inappropriately. Therefore, a small, unobtrusive logo will appear on each file. If your package includes high-resolution files, you will receive one, unmarked copy as well.
