1. What was the best part of your boudoir experience?

The whole day was fabulous.  It felt like a “me day” hanging out with girlfriends at the spa!  We had a lovely hotel room, snacks, music, 3 girls to chat with and learn about, hair and makeup pampering, fun lingerie and heels… what more could one ask for?! 🙂  Shannon and Shana were super fun and engaging company.  My husband met me after the photo shoot and we enjoyed dinner out and a night away from the kids… the whole experience was awesome!

2. What’s one thing you got out of your experience that you didn’t expect when you initially booked? 

Ha… learning face and neck pose secrets from Shannon to look better in everyday photos! 🙂  I DID expect to have fun, feel super sexy, and get great photos to feel proud of, celebrate who I am right now, and have a keepsake for when I’m older… and Shannon met and exceeded my expectations in regards to all of that!

3. What was it about Shannon that made you decide to book with her over another boudoir studio?

I searched the web for “pin-up photos” and “boudoir photos” and looked at about 6 websites.  When I hit on Shannon’s website, I was done… photographer located!  Her images were classy, beautiful, saturated, mysterious… works of art really.  She appreciates and has centered her career around the fact that female bodies are beautiful and isn’t shy or apologetic about it.  Shannon’s resume and experience are impressive.

4. What hesitation did you have about booking a boudoir session? NONE!

5. Why did you choose to have a boudoir shoot done? 

Over the past year, I have whipped myself into shape with exercise and healthy eating.  I was tired of being tired…and squishy!  I am a 42-year-old mom of two who thought I would never show my post-pregnancy belly again in public…. but with my new healthier lifestyle (plug for Kayla Itsines!), I feel more confident and pretty than ever.  I wanted to celebrate my personal success with a sexy boudoir shoot.

6. Would you do it again?  Absolutely.

7. If you were to do it again, what would you do differently?

I honestly can’t think of one single thing.  I highly recommend shooting in a hotel room and having fun with it.  The whole day and experience was perfect.
